THE PREMIER MARKETPLACE FOR REAL OPALS

How can we help you?

Why was my bid refused?

There are two reasons why a confirmed bid can be considered invalid:

  • You have entered an invalid value in the “Bid Amount” field. Make sure that your bid amount contains only numbers. Do not enter any dollar signs ($) or commas (,) etc. into the bid amount field..
  • Your bid amount is less than the “Next Bid” value. Make sure that your bid is equal to or greater than the current “Next Bid” value shown on the listing page. Sometimes the next bid will be lower than the actual minimum bid.

NEW MEMBER BIDDING REQUIREMENTS

New members will be required to add a credit card to their account. You will be asked to enter a credit card to confirm you are a real bidder. You do not have to pay for any wins using this card, and it is not stored anywhere. It is purely for identification purposes only

BIDDING RESTRICTIONS

To make sure buyers don't bid on, or buy, more than they're comfortable with, we occasionally place limits on a member's buying activity. We may also restrict buying if we believe a member has violated a policy.

To lift the restriction you will need to pay for any wins you have outstanding before placing more bids. If you do not have any items waiting for payment, the restriction will apply to the number of auctions you can bid on at one time. If you have exceed this limit you will need to wait untilsome of your auctions are finished before you can bid again.

Please use the current bid tab to see how many items you are currently bidding on.
