EDIT Folks I couldnt understand why no one had bought this rough, so I got it cut, so this listing has changed.
It is now 1.40 carats and measures 7 x 3mm as a round.
The color is superb, overall a blue green Opal with much more color as it moves, I will post a video soon. The pictures I have added capture it well.
So you will have to pay more for this now. Its worth around $600 now, first in with $300 can have it.
My cutter has left enough of the black underneath to show that it is black and from Lambina.
Folks here is the very last of these stunning, rare Lambina Black Opal Crystal nuggets that formed around what is aa solid black Opal. The famous “Black Heart parcel”. Sadly, Lambina has been closed to Opal mining, there will not be any more,
It you dare, and cut through the crystal into that black nobby inside, you will find it full of color. I know this because I sold a lot of these and thats what has been found to happen.
I would wet this, look at it, polish it then decide if you want to cut into the black heart, It will be a tough decision to make, Goodluck!.
