This opal is a very tall highdome Opal. As a cutter I chosen every angle carefully so that it can go into jewelry easily without any suprises.
This highdome opal is full of rolling rainbowprisms and has some honeycomb. Also has a little purple in its pearly white base that adds to its beauty.
Sunlight video was made in the warm Ethiopian sunlight.

Hello Everyone! My name's Bennie Ulibarri.
I am living halfway in Ethiopia and halfway in Colorado. I sell only Ethiopian Gems. 2017 I was chasing rumors in Ethiopia for 6 months. I lived ate and experienced and seen more of Ethiopia than I ever did ,so far I've seen many new stones in Ethiopia some haven't even made it to Addis yet. I would like to focus on bringing awareness of some of these new gemstones for 2018 . In Ethiopia new stone's are being discovered everyday. I have chased many rumors on my adventures .
Opal is my favorite stone and am quite passionate about sourcing the best quality opals.
since 2012 we have offered opalauctions competition cut and competition polished gems that are indeed flawless even on the backside and the craftsmanship that goes into every stone shines on every stone. Every stone is cut meticulously to insure not only it's flat-spot free and polished flawless but most importantly we leave just enough of a rounded edge to grab and set the stone properly ,great care goes into every stone to make sure all sides of the gem can be bezel set ,not limiting the stone to prongs or a bezel setting that is as tall as prongs.
