Check this out for a snake skin patterened opal. It is the best example I have ever seen before. I’ve had many opals in the past and I’ve seen many others opal and this is the best I’ce seen. It has good color from all angles and the pattern is super rich looking and to top it all off it is deep red. I just love this stone and was very excited to get it as I’m sure the lucky winner will be as well. 16.40 carats of pure gem opal with a semi crystal base. The opal is from Tsehey Meucha mine in Welo province. This mine is mostly mined out and isn’t producing like a few years ago and has a top reputation for stable opal. This one I’ve had for over a year now and you never will need to worry about crazing with this stone.
