We are a family company who love opal and have loved sharing its beauty with the world for over 40 years of combined experience in opal mining, jewellery manufacture and online sales.
These rough opal rubbed seam pieces were mined on the Donna's Rush opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 640 carats, 128 grams or 4 oz 2 dwt (troy) weighed dry.
These are medium to low yield pieces.
These stones should cut around 55-65 carats of flat/low dome solids with quality smooth matrix backing and / or doublets and inlay etc.

We do not sell opal simulants of ANY sort. All of our opal is 100% guaranteed Natural Australian Opal.
The color variations in some photos are due to different light angles and distances. All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a 60 watt incandescent lamp. In all photo's the opal is immersed in order to show the true colour.
Please check the dimensions carefully as the opal will not be as big in your hand as it looks on your monitor! Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your purchased rough opal wet in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
