This Is a rare Worm Burrow Fossil/Specimen from the Black Gate Opal Field In Queensland. If you google 'Polychaeta Annelida', you can see the creatures that made this. Their current ancestors make excellent fish bait. Fossil has been cleaned and shaped so Is more of a specimen now. The opal sheriff has queried the item being authentic so all I can say Is that this piece came in a parcel of burrows I purchased many years ago and has the same Boulder Opal look as the others. At worst it is a nice piece of Boulder Opal.
Photos and videos are taken with a mobile phone, under artificial light, all sizes and weights are approximates.
