This is a really crazy no reserve auction for an item I could lose a lot of money on.
It is a superb piece of semiblack jelly crystal opal from Andamooka
Apart form one tiny crack in the side it is a flawless huge 184Ct piece of polished opal
It loves light, as most crystal opals do and is absolutely amazing in artificial or sunlight.
The colour play is very unusual. It is pinfire, across the whole stone, It has blue pinfire in one
direction and red pinfire in the other direction.
N6 body tone.
