We’ve had a direct supply from the miners for some years now, and good quality material is getting very hard to find as the source is depleting.

This opal is known for its "black basalt matrix" meaning it has a dark base with small flashes of color, often including milky white opal, and is considered one of the oldest opal sources in the world due to its volcanic origins in the region; this unique coloration sets it apart from other opal varieties.
