Here we Have a Lovely Piece of Winton Fairy Opal Rough

Great Patterns with red and multi colourOpal Matrix,
Opal is in the Rough State and Requires Cutting and Polishing to Finish. Ideal to be Kept as a Specimen Piece as Well.

Origin: Winton Boulder Opal Field, QLD, Australia.

This has been Treated/cooked to blacken it. May need retreating after cutting and polishing if desired.
This material when cut and polished can result in a matte finish, for a mirror finish resin can be used if desired.

Pictures were taken under desk lamp light. Video was taken in natural sunlight. Pictures and video were taken while the stone was wet to show potential.

All possible care is taken to capture the true and natural image of the opal and pictures are not enhanced in any way, besides enlarging and cropping.
