All hand-selected gem-cutter stones and chips, these are full of BRIGHT fire (many N5 brightness) and vivid color and beautiful patterns. Small but not tiny, these are perfect for making rings and pendants. In my experience cutting many of these they are full of fire and face beautifully. I havent cut one of these that hasn’t turned into a beautiful gem - in fact, I wear a silver ring i made with an opal I cut from this lot on my finger 24/7!

Crystal Parcel: 15ct. of transparent and translucent stones and chips FULL of fire! Lots of rainbows, reds and oranges in both parcels, but you will see more blues and greens as well in the crystal. When I move the jar in the sunlight it glitters with changing colors, so bright that they look radioactive! Same jewelers grade quality as the semi-black ( some stones have a jet-black layer of potch, but the rough is technically semi-black. The crystal stones are generally slightly smaller and do not have as much if any sand layer. I have always loved cutting any of these batches of Mintabie Semi-Black & Mintabie Crystal opal - they have been nothing but the best, always top notch results. I never add crappy potch stones into my parcels as filler. I only sell stones which I believe have a very high potential of cutting stunning gems.
