BOULDER MAGIC

BOULDER OPAL FROM OPALTON.

This is a natural untreated Boulder opal stone that has been well polished with a high luster.  This stone was mined in opalton Qld and this opal field is featured in the tv show "out back opal hunters." This is one of the largest opal fields in qld and at the turn of the century there was 600 opal miners there. Today they are around 25 but not all are full time miners.
The price of these stones is determined by the amount and color and fire of the opal.
 and not the weight of the ironstone-a bit like a painting as you pay for what you see.
It is well polished with a high luster.
