We are a family company who love opal and have loved sharing its beauty with the world for over 40 years of combined experience in opal mining, jewellery manufacture and online sales.
This rough opal was recently mined by us on the 4 Mile East Pacific opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

ITEM SPECIFICS:
WEIGHT: 81 carats, 16.2 grams or 0 oz 10 dwt (troy) weighed dry.
These are medium to high yield pieces.
These stones should cut around 10-14 carats of light potch backed cabochons or carvings etc.

We do not sell opal simulants of ANY sort. All of our opal is 100% guaranteed Natural Australian Opal.
The color variations in some photos are due to different light angles and distances. All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a halogen lamp. In all photo's the opal is immersed.
Please check the dimensions carefully as the opal will not be as big in your hand as it looks on your monitor! Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your purchased rough opal wet in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
