THE BACKING IS FROM LIGHTNING RIDGE. WE GET THESE STONES CUT IN ASIA AS IT COSTS $3-5 PER STONE TO CUT ON THE FIELD. IT TAKES LONGER TO CUT A DOUBLET THAN A STONE.ON THE OPAL FIELD WE USUALLY VALUE A DOUBLET 10% OF A SOLID STONE.REDDISH COLOURS ARE THE HARDEST TO FIND.WE ARE OFFERING THESE AT OUR WHOLESALE PRICE SO YOU MAY WIN A BARGIN.

We are a member of the Australian Opal and Gem Industry Association .we and . Seda Opals is an abbreviation from our surname Sedawie. The business is mainly wholesale and it is through this site that we can bring the opal fields direct to you. If you don't really like anything, return it for a no questions asked refund or swap it for other stock. You will also find us as the trade shows in Tuscon and Denver.
