This is a huge opal rough from lightning ridge. it was split in half by the digger. It is a virgin material with multiple brilliant colour bars. Each colour bar shows very strong rainbow fire. The dark porch(could go black in the middle) between each colour bar is thick enough to saw through, so you will cut out a few quite big gem grade opals from this rough.
This is a very rare and super high quality rough material. Big size rough like this is very very hard to find.
