FACED ROUGH

This is a parcel of natural opal rough that have rubbed to expose the colour .They are clean pre shaped stone called rubs. This parcel has come from a cutter at the Ridge who mainly uses a saw to face the stone rather than rubbing them down..
This is a parcel of black, dark and crystal opals all mined in Lightning ridge. They are ideal for a re seller or jeweler.

All our stock has a money back guarantee provided its not cut/rubbed and we suggest you look at it with a loop dry before cutting

Note we use a Nikon camera that captures the mauve in blue stones which the eye cant see so consider this colour to be blue

How do we value our rough?? After 30 years experience of rubbing down and cutting thousands of opal we value  the rough as what we believe it will cut-However you are dealing with nature so some stones will come out worse than i expect-if you are disappointed with your experience please let us know so we may be able to rectify it.
