OPAL SHELL
This is a natural shell from Coober Pedy. Millions of years ago Australians' outback was covered in an inland sea. The shell is from the Cretaceous period over 100 million years ago.
. The inside has been replaced with sandstone and the outer skin does have fractures but the fire is amazing and its a beautiful specimen.
