This is a natural untreated rough belemnite fossil showing some nice colour bars. This was a living squid like animal in the cretaceous period app 100 million years ago that was replaced by opal. You have the option to keep as a specimen or polish the colour and leave the specimen natural which is what i prefer. Then you can have a unique opal that can still be seen as a fossil.
We have taken the photo with the fossil rough wet.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
