This is a natural stone from the koroit field in Queensland boulder country.This field is known for its rich chocolate ironstone with precious opal embedded in it.The stone is enhanced with a natural untreated chrome diopside from Russia.


The workmanship and quality is excellent.

Chrome diopside is a  natural rich, emerald green variety of the mineral diopside which derives its color from chromium. A recent Russian find in 1988 is the source of the Tsavorite-like stones that are gaining in popularity today.
