This rough opal was mined in the Lightning Ridge area.
There are lots of small pieces suitable to be finished into polished stones.
The photos are taken wet and dry.
The opal is totally natural and untreated.
I am an Australian Opal Cutter, buying rough opal direct from the miners. I cut the stones and sell them direct to my customers.
