This is a well polished natural untreated stone from Jalisco Mexico showing a rich purple colour.
It is called grape opal as its high in silica and it looks like drops of grape jelly.
It forms in nodules with a thin husky white shell around them.
Under uv lights it is fluorescence and glows a stunning bright yellow /orange
