BOULDER OPAL
This stone was mined at the famous hayricks opal mine in Queensland. Len cram the book author called this the greatest opal mine of all time.it was first discovered in the 1930s and produced some stunning opals. This mine has recently come back into production and these stones were faced by the miner. On the cutting table any stone with problems they rejected to cut with inclusions fracture ,faults ect . I sent these away to be stabilized which actually makes the stone stronger but it looks as a nautral polished stone. The treatment is permant. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
