Leopard opal from Zimapán, Hidalgo State, Mexico. It made up of vesicular basalt impregnated with play-of-color opal.
Found in only 2 other locations 1 in Southern California and the other in Nevada. According to GIA it only comes from Zimapán which is outdated information.
