AMETHYST + OPAL EARRINGS
This is a doublet opal made from natural crystal from Coober Pedy and backed on to ironstone from Queensland to look like expensive black opal. A natural amethyst stone has been added to enhance the earring.
The workmanship and quality is excellent.

Amethyst is a purple form of quartz and it is the Birthstone associated with February..Amethyst occurs in primary hues from a light slightly-pinkish violet to a deep grape purple. Amethyst may exhibit one or both secondary hues, red and/or blue. The ideal grade is called "Deep Siberian" and has a primary purple hue of around 75–80 percent, 15–20 percent blue and (depending on the light source) red secondary hues
Our jewelery manafacturing is contracted out to one factory in asia where i supply both the silver and stones to be set.This gives me control of the quality of both the silver and stones.
