This rough opal was mined on the Olympic, 17 Mile and Opal Valley opal fields of Coober Pedy Australia.

These are medium yield pieces.
These stones should cut around 15-18 carats of solids, doublets, inlay and intarsia etc..

Why are users outbidding themselves?
