Folks I love Lambina Opal. Its the best color in my opinion.
This chunk of rough measures 41 x 29 x 18mm and weighs .636 Oz or 98 carats.
Pieces like this are hard to come by, its clean as a whistle and full of color, rich greens and golds with blues and a touch of orange to red.
There is color in every direction and every angle. Super clean and very bright rough. If you are a carver, this is for you, thats what I would do with it, dremel it and polish it as a freeform. You would lose maybe 5 carats that way and it would be stunning. You dont like your carving, then you can slice it up and you havent lost any material really,.
The flies were horrendous so I didnt get a video but if you are interested in buying this Opal rough let me know and I will do one for you.
