Opal type & Origin:this is a very rare black opal mined in lightning ridge cut to its natures intended shape. It has nice broad green flash with moss pattern some reds. This stone may be able to be worked again as we inspected it and there is a red color bar under the greens. So someone can buy this and take the risk of going deeper to see if the color gets better or to keep it as it and make a wonderful jewelry piece with a very rare opal. So rare we only cut two of these in our 6 years of constant opal cutting from lightning ridge
