This is a solid natural opal from lightning ridge . It has been inlayed by experienced craftsman who even used a tooth pick to add some of the features. The material used included spiny oyster shell ,turquoise agate and mother of pearl. Some of the joins have a thin sliver wire between them.
Some of the work is micro imlay which requires great skill.
