This is a wood fosil of natural opal Banten, Indonesia. We have taken a photo of the stones dry condition. MOST OF IT IS OILED, I got this rough has been oiled. But i have polished it,Its a common practice to heat in the sand by the miners to remove the clay which sticks to the rough and when polished i add a resin to get a better finish as it hides pits ect.
