this stunning pendant had two natural boulder opals
one has brilliant red fire
This process is same as to how they make fresh water pearls
The wild oysters are harvested and I technician will insert bead and the shell will secrete layers of nacre to go over the bead and forms a pearl
So with the opal ,it is inserted and left for year and the nacre grows up on sides to hold the opal into the shell
you can make bale for this and wear as pendant
or you could cut out both opals and make rings or pendants
your decision,either way it so unique
