This rough opal was mined by our company on the Dead Horse Gully opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 28.8 carats, 5.76 grams.

This is a medium yield rubbed piece.

This stone should cut around 14 to 16 carats of cabochons, up to 20 or so if carved.

Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your purchased rough opal wet in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
